Position Overview:
Inspire Her is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our programs. The Program Manager will play a key role in developing and managing programs that empower young women, foster personal growth, and promote leadership skills. Additionally, the Program Manager will be responsible for proposal development, grant making, grant management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Lead the development and implementation of Inspire Her’s programs, including mentorship programs, educational workshops, and leadership development initiatives.
- Strategic Planning: Work with the executive team to develop strategic plans and goals for program growth and expansion, aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Program Implementation:Oversee all aspects of program implementation, including scheduling, logistics, participant recruitment, and volunteer coordination.
- Partnership Development:Cultivate and maintain partnerships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to support program delivery and participant engagement.
- Proposal Development and Grant Making: Identify grant opportunities, write grant proposals, and secure grants to support program activities and operations. Develop compelling proposals that align with funder priorities and requirements.
- Grant Management and Compliance:Manage grant funds, track grant expenses, and ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions. Prepare grant reports and documentation for funders and oversee grant compliance activities.

- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise program volunteers and mentors, providing guidance and support to ensure program effectiveness and participant satisfaction.
- Monitoring and Evaluation and Reporting: Develop and implement program evaluation frameworks to assess program impact and outcomes. Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, funders, and partners.
- Budget Management:Manage program budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Community Engagement: Represent Inspire Her in the community, attending events, networking with stakeholders, and promoting the organization’s mission and programs.
- Advocacy: Advocate for gender equality, women’s empowerment, and the elimination of gender-based discrimination and violence. Collaborate with stakeholders to influence policies and legislation. Lead campaigns to address social norms and create an inclusive society for women and girls.
Qualification Required & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (education, social work, nonprofit management, public heath, gender studies, community development, business administration, etc.). Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to equity and inclusion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Grant tools, financial systems, and program evaluation tools/software.
