Position: Electrical/Instrumentation Technician
Position Overview
We are looking to hire a qualified person to occupy the role of Electrical/Instrumentation Technician in our company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow preventive maintenance practices.
- Perform calibration of facility instruments.
- Offer assistance and improvement to the organization’s health, safety, and environmental system that meets legal and standard regulations.
- Engages actively in daily maintenance meetings and helps guarantee defined ongoing enhancement in the organization’s equipment and processes.
- Examine and oversee tasks performed by outside contractors.
- Create reports, keep records, and order supplies and parts.
- Extend the lifespan of outdated equipment and conserve resources by performing
- comprehensive troubleshooting, even at the component level.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and electrical repairs. Diagnosing issues with instrumentation on machinery used in industrial motor controls, pump drives, and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).
- Perform automation troubleshooting and adjustments,
- Interprets and reads electrical and mechanical drawings to assist in repair tasks.
- Guarantees that safety, technical standards, food safety, and company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Necessary Skills or Experience
Understanding
- Must be a EET 3 with five years of experience as an Electrical Technician or in a related field
- Posses HND accompanied by two or more years of professional experience in the industry.
- Applicants must possess solid skills in troubleshooting with engineering drawings and have strong knowledge of instrumentation.
