Position: Engineer

Rich Van-J Engineering Consultancy Ltd. is presently seeking an appropriate candidate eager to work in a multidisciplinary setting concentrating on water, sanitation, and infrastructure initiatives. The perfect candidate is adaptable and eager to engage in various projects within Ghana and West Africa.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Architecture. A Master’s Degree is advantageous and preferred.
Experience in the workforce ranging from 3 to 5 years.

Outstanding technical understanding:

Outstanding English – both written and verbal abilities (Proficient French is an advantage)
Proficient in Structural Analysis programs (Tekla, ProtaStructure, StaadPro)
Proficient in 3D modeling and rendering tools (3Ds Max, SketchUp, Lumion, Blender)
Proficient in CAD applications (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS)
Familiarity with additional software is advantageous.
A passport is required.
A driver’s license is required.
Applicant must reside in or around Kasoa and its surroundings.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical and feasibility studies, which encompass site investigations.
Utilize various software applications for creating comprehensive designs.
Help carry out intricate and recurring calculations as instructed by senior officers.
Coordinate with clients and various professionals such as architects and
subcontractors.
Help in solving design and development issues.
