Responsibilities:
Strategy
- Implement and cascade Global Depot Product Guidelines
- Optimization and growth of the Depot Product portfolio within the Area (footprint/locations & services)
Profitability
- Maximize the revenue and profitability of the Depot Product (Maersk operated facilities as well as outsourced facilities)
- Develop new revenue streams (BCO and Shipping Lines Customers)
- Ensure area pricing in compliance with global governance
- Drive depot product with sales community
- Identify and deliver cost optimization (cost saving initiatives)
- Manage capacity and product offering in accordance to market needs
Operational Excellence
- Safe and compliant operations of the facilities within scope
- Ensure adequate level of control
- New products introduction and implementation (Go Live)
- Drive performance transparency and continuous improvement culture
Customer focus
- Ensure timely delivery and proactive customer focus
- Manage relationships with key customers, whether Shipping Lines or non-ocean and ocean BCOs
- Identify new opportunities. Manage commercial pipeline (tenders, projects, etc.)
Leadership
- Develop a strong and competent depot team
- Drive a strong community and collaboration across products (lead across functional and organizational boundaries)
