After the super clash on Sunday, February 20th, 2022, fans lauded Hearts of Oaks goalkeeper Richard Attah for spectacular saves against Kumasi Asante Kotoko. In an outstanding Ghana Premier League matchday 7 match, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko split the points.

The Black Stars goalkeeper came up big for the Phobians in the second half, making two key saves to keep Cameroonian forwards Frank Mbella and Richard Lamptey out.
His performance was only eclipsed by that of left back Dennis Korsah, who was outstanding.
Richard Attah’s Career
Richard Attah began his football career with Okyeman Planners F.C., a division one club centered in the Eastern Region.
In 2017, he moved to Elmina, a Central Region base, and spent two seasons with the Elmina Sharks before joining Accra Hearts of Oak in 2019.
Attah was a member of Ghana’s national squad at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, which was eliminated in the group stage
