RuffTown Records CEO, Bullet, explains why he only manages women.

RuffTown Records CEO, Bullet, has stated that he chose to manage only female musicians in Ghana’s music industry because of the impact women have had on his life.

In an interview with Accra FM, Bullet stated that he considers women to be “his mothers,” and as such, has made it a point to do everything in his power to help them succeed, particularly in the music industry.

Aside from his love of women, he disclosed that another important factor is that during his difficult times, his female friends provided him with significant financial help.

Working with women, according to the musician-turned-manager, is his personal way of saying “thank you” to those who have supported him.

Bullet stated that he lived on the streets and ghettos for nearly ten years before breaking into the spotlight, and that during that time, he was cared for by his female companions.

“At a point, I had just one pair of jeans, one top and one shoe for a whole year and women were the ones there for me during my lowest point,” he said.

According to him, the gesture gave him a soft spot and empathy for women, which allows him to identify and nurture their innate genius.

Bullet stated that his love of ladies drove him to establish his renowned record label as a stepping stone for artistes.

This is evidenced by the rise of female artists on his label, including the late Ebony Reigns, Wendy Shay, Fantata, Kiki Marley, Ms Forson, and Brela, who have been a force to be reckoned with.

Bullet has created back-to-back hit songs since the inception of RuffTown Records in 2015, earning him the title as one of Ghana’s best artistes managers.

Bullet, also known as Ricky Nana Agyemang in private, is now open to working with male artists, and two of them, Danny Beats and Ray Jay, have successfully completed his tutelage.
