Media General gifts 2-bedroom house to 2021 GJA Journalist of the Year, Portia Gabor.

Portia Solomon Gabor, the 2021 GJA Journalist of the Year, has been rewarded by her employers, Media General Group, with a two-bedroom house.

Board Chairman Kojo Yankah presented her with a bouquet of flowers and announced the surprise package during a brief ceremony on TV3’s flagship news programme, News 360, yesterday, Monday, November 14, 2022.

Portia will also receive an all-expenses-paid 10-day trip to South Africa with her family in addition to the two-bedroom apartment.

Background

Portia Gabor was named GJA Journalist of the Year at the 26th GJA Awards Night on Saturday, November 12 at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.

She also took home the awards for Best TV News Production and Health Journalist of the Year.

Juliet Bawuah, Joseph Armstorng Gold-Alorgbey, and Godwin Asediba of TV3 were also honoured on the night.
