The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the date on which the WASSCE 2022 results will be released for candidates to view.
After successfully completing the marking and coordination of the papers at all 49 venues, the Council reports that it has begun processing the results.
WAEC stated in a statement that it is conducting investigations into exam irregularities encountered both during and after the exams.
The Council then urged school officials and candidates who had been invited to its offices to assist with investigations into suspected cases of malpractice to try to honour the invitations in order to expedite the resolution of those cases.
WAEC also used the opportunity to warn students to be wary of websites announcing the release of fraudulent results and individuals promising to improve results for a fee. The above-mentioned behaviours are typical of con artists or fraudsters, WAEC stated.
