CH Group Ghana Limited is seeking an experienced and self-motivated person to join its dedicated team as an Accounts Officer.

Purpose of the job:
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that all statutory payments are made monthly to meet deadlines. Oversee and ensure that all monthly bank reconciliation statements are prepared on time. Ensure receipts are issued for all inflows, and invoicing schedules are updated periodically.

Key responsibilities:
- Request for Bank Statements and prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements for all accounts and file accordingly.
- Report, investigate, and address all unreconciled items.
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations and the preparation of the intercompany matrix.
- Assist with the processing and filing of VAT, PAYE, SSF, Tier 2 and 3 contributions online before the set deadline.
- File and pay VAT returns before the 30th of every month.
- Assist in filing quarterly CIT returns.
- Submit WHT schedules to GRA after payment online and ensure WHT credit certificates are secured after payment is made.
- Ensure all inflows are properly receipted.
- Ensure that all invoices issued out to clients are properly filed.
- Input transactions into the Sun system (Accounting software).
- Keep proper records and schedules on all invoices and receipts issued.
- Monthly reconciliation of receivable accounts to correct all identified errors to aid credit control effort.
- Liaise with the Finance team to ensure all statutory returns for all companies are filed on time.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration preferably in Accounting or Banking & Finance or any relevant field of study.

Experience:
1 – 2 years relevant working experience in a similar role.
Knowledge, Skills & Behavioural Competencies:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of driving measurable and significant business results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of the Infor Sunsystems accounting software.
- Analytical and numeracy skills.
- Be ready to learn new things.
- Be a team player.
