The service of a construction manager(Process Plant) is needed at Cardinal Namdini Mining Limited (CNML).
Job Description
Job Purpose:
- To lead and coordinate all aspects/disciplines of the design, installation and/or implementation work for the Gold Process Plant and all mechanical engineering /structural works to meet design specifications in line with company’s timelines, expectations and statutory requirements.
- To provide skills, integrity, and knowledge in key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements, and current good engineering practice. This includes understanding the Company’s needs; identifying and addressing design parameters and problems; developing and implementing requisite solutions.

Primary Accountabilities (Duties & Responsibilities):
- Perform and engineer all mechanical/Electrical equipment installation and will liaise with the construction manager in-charge of earthworks and civils to complete all civils works.
- Become familiar with and strictly adhere to the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental standards and policy. This includes assisting in the development and implementation of procedures that ensure that the Company’s safety, environmental and programming standards are attained. Act as a role model in complying with and supporting these standards and practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project. This includes interfacing with other Project Manager(s) and/or EPCM contractor(s) to co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside the Company in relation to the Process.
- Support and collaborate with the relevant department in negotiating efficient and value-added contracts outcomes.

- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities and follows various construction protocols.
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
- Supervise the work of SMPP, etc. and give them guidance when needed.
- Evaluate progress and assist in preparing detailed weekly, monthly and periodic reports.

- Performs any other related duties based on the exigencies of the Company as assigned by the Supervisor.
