AGROPAL Farms Limited (AFAL) is an agribusiness seeking the transformation of agriculture through sustainable and commercial production of high valued crops particularly fruits for industrial processing.The key value chain of interest for AFAL mangoes, pineapples, and papaya.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead in the design and launch of the various commercial farm projects.
- Lead in the identification and acquisition of sites for the commercial farm projects. Lead in developing weekly, monthly, and annual plans for the implementation of the project.
- Ensure implementation plans are achieved at the agreed costs, quality, and within budget. Track and monitor progress of project activities.
- Work with other teams within the group in developing and strategizing for production targets.
- Prepare performance reports and presenting them to managing director and the board of directors.
- Liaise with business development and marketing units of the group to secure new and maintain existing project partners

Qualifications Required & Experience
- Master’s degree or higher degree in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or Business Administration/Entrepreneurship (with verifiable experience in commercial agricultural or agribusiness projects).
- At least ten (10) years of professional or sector/industry experience. Knowledge and experience in pineapple value chains At least 7 years’ experience in similar role.
- At least 7 years’ experience in organizational leadership, management, and operations.
- Strategic leader with the ability to manage and effectively motivate teams
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and experience in building sustainable entities Proven expertise in developing project budgets.
