Job Description
For a full-time position in the finance department of a developing business, we are now hiring a highly qualified professional. It is desirable for you to be an initiative-taker who enjoys accepting accountability for your actions, demonstrates initiative, and approaches tasks with a structured and deliberate manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating and maintaining transactions and financial records and reports related to accounting.
- Preparing budget forecasts and financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports.
- Preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Implementing best practices in financial control processes.
- Conducting detailed analysis of financial data.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring proper inventory management.
- Reporting of actual financial results for the operations department which includes, operations, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and facilities.
- Decision support for all aspects of the department aimed at improving overall performance.
- Assist in developing and reporting of financial and other KPi’s for the department
- Ad hoc work including investment analysis to support operational decisions.
Performing any other related duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Working knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in using an accounting software.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
