Job Summary:
The successful candidate will deliver educational instruction to students and facilitate their academic, social, and emotional development. He/she will prepare lesson plans, assess student performance, and create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Planning and leading PHE lessons, getting students to compete in sporting events and evaluating their performance.
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that adhere to state and school curriculum standards.
- Using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
- Integrating technology and interactive activities to enhance learning.
- Maintaining an orderly and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Establishing and enforcing rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
- Addressing and resolving any disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Designing and administering assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Using assessment data to modify teaching strategies and improve student learning outcomes.
- Identifying and supporting students with special needs, collaborating with special education staff as necessary.

Qualification Required & Experience
have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in physical education, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology, Sports Fitness, or Human Physiology.
- At least 2 years post-qualification experience at basic, high school and /or college school level could be an added advantage.
- Have a pleasant personality. Thus, he/she must be sincere, flexible, courteous, tolerant, respectful and an all-around likable person.
- Ability to plan PE programs for physical and health well being of students.
- Ability to organize competitions.
- Be proficient in practical skills.
- Leadership skills in the field of Physical and Health Education (PHE) and Sports.
