Job Summary:

The successful candidate will deliver educational instruction to students and facilitate their academic, social, and emotional development. He/she will prepare lesson plans, assess student performance, and create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Responsibilities

Planning and leading PHE lessons, getting students to compete in sporting events and evaluating their performance.
Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that adhere to state and school curriculum standards.
Using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
Integrating technology and interactive activities to enhance learning.
Maintaining an orderly and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Establishing and enforcing rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
Addressing and resolving any disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
Designing and administering assessments to evaluate student progress.
Providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
Using assessment data to modify teaching strategies and improve student learning outcomes.
Identifying and supporting students with special needs, collaborating with special education staff as necessary.

MUST READ:

Qualification Required & Experience

have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in physical education, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology, Sports Fitness, or Human Physiology.

At least 2 years post-qualification experience at basic, high school and /or college school level could be an added advantage.
Have a pleasant personality. Thus, he/she must be sincere, flexible, courteous, tolerant, respectful and an all-around likable person.
Ability to plan PE programs for physical and health well being of students.
Ability to organize competitions.
Be proficient in practical skills.
Leadership skills in the field of Physical and Health Education (PHE) and Sports.
