Position: Shop Attendant
Position Overview
The Shop Attendant delivers excellent customer service, keeps the store clean and orderly, and ensures customers have a favorable shopping experience. This position involves helping customers, overseeing inventory, and performing fundamental cashier tasks
Main Duties
Client Support:
- Greet customers cordially and offer help with choosing products.
- Respond to customer questions and handle complaints swiftly and professionally.
- Make certain that customers exit the store pleased with their shopping experience.
Sales Assistance:
- Help in marketing and enhancing product sales to achieve revenue goals.
- Give comprehensive details about the advantages and characteristics of the product.
- Recommend complementary items or substitutes according to customer requirements.
Stock Oversight:
- Replenish the shelves and make sure all items are presented nicely.
- Keep track of inventory quantities and inform the Store Manager about any shortages.
- Help with stock-taking and inventory checks when needed.
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Manage the cash register and process transactions correctly.
- Facilitate transactions through cash, credit cards, or mobile payment methods.
- Generate receipts and maintain correct cash management at the register.
Store Upkeep:
- Maintain the store clean, tidy, and free from clutter.
- Make sure displays are refreshed and meet promotional criteria.
- Consistently inspect for broken or outdated items and inform the supervisor.
Adherence and Security:
- Adhere to store policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
- Make sure to comply with company standards and regulations.
