Inspire Action has entered a partnership with the NGO MATUMAINI on a program to fight human smuggling and trafficking; sex trafficking; and protect refugees and victims of domestic gender-based violence. In line with this program, a first transitional home has been secured for the victims in the Santa Maria neighborhood with a capacity of accommodating about 80 persons. The transitional home will function as a camp and shall function similarly.
Inspire Action is seeking to hire an energetic, committed, and professional individual for a full-time role as Camp Coordination, and Camp Management Assistant to support the needs of the transitional home and its occupants.

The CCCM/Site Management Assistant is responsible for the transitional home’s site management, local stakeholders, information management, and assisting other Inspire Action and MATUMAINI teams with program implementation.
Job Description
- Full-Time Position: 40 Hours per Week
- Parent Position: Head of Program

Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be an excellent team player, possess the required interpersonal skills, and will be able to maintain flexibility in their role. The key responsibilities are, though not limited to:
Site Management and Community Participation:
- Support in the creation and strengthening of Site Management Committees (SMCs); build capacity of SMC members through coaching on CCCM principles and practice and reinforce adherence to the Terms of Reference and Code of Conduct
- Assist in identifying needs, service gaps, and duplications on the site, report such issues through appropriate reporting tools, and flag for action through appropriate coordination channels
- Facilitate site-level meetings with SMCs and other stakeholders such as humanitarian actors and government officials to discuss needs, issues, and gaps
- Attend all relevant CCCM coordination meetings, representing Inspire Action and MATUMAINI, as well as attend meetings with various stakeholders, including sectoral working groups, local authorities, and victims as requested.
- Conduct site risk assessments and safety audits to ensure the safety of the staff and camp residents, ensuring staff are fully aware and equipped to conduct their work safely.
- Follow and uphold humanitarian principles and the centrality of protection at all times.

- Support representative committees and community groups, ensuring Inclusion is the main factor in composition through the participation of women, youth, people with specific needs, and marginalized groups in the site governance mechanisms and CCCM Activities.
- Monitor multi-sector needs and service provision and the overall condition of the site including shelter, WASH, environment, and cross-cutting services, and apply a participatory approach to identify, analyze, and prioritize the site needs to avoid service duplication and gaps.
- In collaboration with other team members develop joint site risk management plans to promote the health, safety, and environment of the transitional home’s site.
- Support the technical implementation of maintenance by the staff, covering safe site design or layout, repairs, risk reduction, the upkeep of shelter, WASH, electrical systems, other site facilities and utilities, and the general environment.
- Mobilize, train, organize, and equip the transitional home’s site residents to take part in safely maintaining the site according to the risk management plan. Ensure clarification of roles and responsibilities among the residents with a focus on sustainability
- Account for and maintain all equipment and supplies that are required for technical assistance as part of site management plans.

Information Management:
- Ensure the timely registration of new arrivals of victims, including identification of protection-related needs
- Support in the drafting of weekly situation reports and provide other relevant information on site conditions and services
- Provide, document, and track timely referrals and service requests to key partners.
- Update public information boards with site management and partner information. Ensure that the information on the boards is accessible to everybody, including non-literate residents.
- Provide accurate and timely information for drafting the weekly CCCM reports and other updates.
- Support in efforts to disseminate information to victims in the transitional home.
- Any other tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Required Skills or Experience
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social or Political sciences, International Relations, International Development, Engineering, or a relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university/institution.
- Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana and must have a valid license.

Experience:
Required
A minimum of one (01) year of relevant experience in an international and/or national NGO; ideally involved in the direct implementation and supervision of field-level humanitarian assistance to victims,/refugees including:
- Supervisory experience and proven ability to work as part of a multicultural team.
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and experience in working with databases and online applications.
- Ability to work after hours (weekends and public holidays inclusive) when emergencies arise.
- Self-starter who can identify and complete tasks with minimum supervision.

Desired
- Experience implementing similar projects with or funded by partners such as IOM, and UNHCR is considered a strong asset.
- Working knowledge of MS Access is an advantage.
Language Requirements:
- Excellent command of the English language is required;
- Working knowledge of the French language is desired but not an eliminatory criterion.
