Roles Available At WEC For The Employment Ads:
1. Group Procurement Manager
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- The cost-effectiveness and timely procurement of all materials, consumables, and equipment with local and international suppliers.
- Responsible for the effective management of the warehouse, stores, and logistics.
- Degree or advanced diploma in engineering and commercial management from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
- Minimum of 10 ears experience as a procurement manager in construction

2. Group Estimating Manager
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Establishing estimating systems, developing estimates, and keeping an updated record of tenders
- Ensure all tenders are submitted on schedule, are competitive, and that the cost database is regularly updated.
Play a vital role in the bid clarification process, tender pricing, and value engineering of bids and opportunities. - Min. 20 years post-qualification experience in estimating (mechanical, piping, structural)
- Min. 5 years experience as an estimating manager managing a team of estimators.

3. Planner or Scheduler
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Creates tender schedules and labour and plant histograms as required for submission with tenders.
- Creates project schedules and updates the project plan or programme.
- Submit project progress on the critical path and project milestones.
- Constant scope reviews and impacts
- Assist with the extension of time and acceleration of projects.
- Technical, engineering, or project management qualifications are required.
- Min. 6 years of planning experience
- Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, MS Office
