The Atterbury Trust, based in Stellenbosch, South Africa, has a permanent job vacancy. They are searching for an Administrative Assistant.

The successful candidate will form a central part of a small team and will be in charge of the full administrative functions such as:

  • Assisting the team with general administration and projects.
  • Communication with suppliers, preparation of payments and record keeping of expenses
  • Upkeep of records, registers and reports
  • Travelling to suppliers and beneficiaries of the Trust
  • Help in the arrangement of functions

Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree / Diploma in Business Administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Afrikaans and English
  • Previous experience with educational youth programmes and/or NPO experience will be
    advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and deadline driven
  • Hard working and ability to take ownership
  • Have a solution orientated approach and good problem-solving skills
  • Must have own transport with at least code 8 driver’s licence

Working Circumstances:

The working hours for this position is either 3 full days per week or 5 half-days per week.
