Job Description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Factory Supervisor located in Accra. The Senior Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision and management of all labor provided by Leasafric Logistics to Twellium during their assigned shifts. This includes overseeing the daily activities of the Shifts’ Supervisors and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all labor-related activities within the client’s facility.

Key Responsibilities

Labor Management:

  • Oversee the daily activities of the Shifts Supervisor, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times to meet production demands.
  • Monitor labor attendance and address any absenteeism or tardiness issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of all assigned staff.
  • Identify and address any training needs for staff.
  • Implement disciplinary measures as necessary, in accordance with company policies.

·Operational Efficiency:

  • Ensure that all labor-related activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor production output and identify any areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Twellium management to optimize labor utilization and improve productivity.
  • Implement and monitor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

·Client Relations:

  • Maintain strong and positive relationships with Twellium management.
  • Proactively address any client concerns or issues.
  • Provide regular updates to management on labor-related matters.

·Communication s Reporting:

  • Effectively communicate with all levels of staff, including the skilled labour Shifts Supervisors, casual workers, and Twellium management.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on labor performance, attendance, and any other relevant metrics.

Other Duties:

  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of new staff as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Labor attendance rate
  • Employee turnover rate
  • Production output per employee
  • Number of employee complaints
  • Client satisfaction levels
  • Business Increase

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven experience managing large teams of hourly employees.
  • Proven experience in payroll management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
