Position Overview
We are looking for a competent and seasoned Technician to become part of our team. As a Technician, your duties will include the installation, upkeep, and repair of systems such as CCTV, Alarm Systems, Access Control, Fire Alarm Systems, Home Automation, Electronic Fencing, and more.
Required Skills or Experience
Certifications and Education
- Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a similar area.
- Certifications recognized by the industry
- Ongoing education and career advancement to remain current with emerging technologies and methods.
Technical Abilities
- Understanding of electronic circuits and their components
- Comprehension of electrical concepts and fundamentals
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and coding languages
- Skilled in operating multimeters, oscilloscopes, and various electronic testing devices.
- Knowledge of safety protocols while handling electrical systems
Practical Skills
- Joining and removing components with solder
- Wiring and cable organization
- Diagnosing and fixing electronic systems
- Fixing and substituting defective parts
- Building and evaluating electronic prototypes
- Utilizing manual tools (such as wire cutters, tongs, and screwdrivers)
