Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
The Nurse will be responsible for delivery of quality medical, surgical, and occupational health care to workers, ensuring compassionate patient care whilst upholding the highest nursing standards to promote and maintain good employee health on the Mine.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care;
- Collaborate with the Medical Officer in providing physical and psychological support to workers;
- Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards;
- Recommend necessary adjustments to attain client care goals by following laid down procedures;
- Prepare and present accurate monthly statistics to the Medical Officer;
- Maintain nursing supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels;
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by implementing infection control policies and procedures regularly;
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Medical Officer in accordance with company policy.

Required Skills or Experience
Knowledge
- A minimum of Degree in General Nursing or its equivalent;
- A minimum of four (4) years working experience in general nursing duties;
- Must have a valid registration with the Nurses and Midwives Council, Ghana (NMC);
- Knowledge and exposure in carrying out minor procedures like suturing, ear syringing, closed fracture reduction and POP application techniques;
- Experience in performing patient resuscitation based on BLS & ACLS principles;
- Ability to apply knowledge of standards, methods, and procedures to work situations.
