Job Purpose:
Responsible for planning and implementing year-round community engagement efforts in coordination with internal departments and external partners to strategically further Sommalife’s mission. Responsible for building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with varied stakeholders.

Main Duties:
- Leads on the acquisition and onboarding of agents, community leaders and community based farmer groups on Sommalife bundle of services.
- Liaise with engineering and project management teams to ensure that the project design is accurate before work commences.
- Order and scheduling the delivery of all equipment needed for the project.
- Acts as the main point of communication between Community Engagement Officers and the office team.
- Manages the work schedules and ensures that all field staff are achieving set targets.
- Provides leadership and technical support to field staff (full time and part time) and sub-contractors, ensuring that relevant resources are provided.
- Investigates and resolves complaints from field staff and partner farmer groups on various areas of operation.
- Ensure that safety and other policies relevant to community engagement activities are strictly adhered to.
- Designs and leads in the delivery of periodic training programs for Review project progress to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.

Person Specification:
- Must be confident, organized, proactive and result oriented.
- Must be time-conscious at meeting deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Technical
- Adept communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and maintain partnerships.
- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
- Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualification:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work/professional experience in product/people management.
