JOB PURPOSE
The program manager is to oversee and coordinate various projects within assigned jurisdictions of the organization to ensure they align with strategic goals and are executed effectively.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement strategic programs in line with organizational objectives.
- Manage and coordinate projects within the districts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate project outcomes, providing timely reports.
- Navigate and be familiar with the terrains and dynamics of the Western Region districts.

Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study e.g. Project Management, Development Studies, public health, community health, global health, or a related field.
- 3 years of professional experience. Additional certified knowledge in project management and Health-related courses and experience is required for 2 of the needed Program Managers.
- Competencies
- Familiarity with the geographical and cultural nuances of Western, Northern, Upper East, and Upper West Regions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills working across diverse teams.
- Basic knowledge of operations and financial management.
- Strong networking, influencing, and relationship management skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others, as well as the confidence and personal authority to work with external organizations.
- Demonstrate commitment to Norsaac’s core organizational values of justice, commitment, responsiveness, inclusion, mutual respect, and partnership.
- Has excellent organizational, leadership, and administrative skills with special attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a willingness and ability to work independently and on a team in a cooperative, problem-solving capacity.
- Proven experience in program management, preferably in community development projects.

- Prioritizing work responsibilities, including short- and long-term assignments.
- Development of plans to respond to job mandate.
- Accessing and utilizing the various platforms available to obtain information that will assist in decision-making.
- Take calculated decisions on issues within JD and account fully for gains or losses thereof.
