ROLE PURPOSE

The Minrep Coordinator’s role reports to the Technical Services Superintendent. The role is accountable for providing data entry from operator plods to our mining database application (minrep), ensuring data quality and integrity is maintained at acceptable standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain data integrity and quality of operator plods;
  • Enter data on operator plods into minrep;
  • Assist engineering team to reconcile minrep data for monthly claims;
  • Engage operators, suveyors, engineers and other stakeholders to correct inaccurate mining data;
  • Train employees on how to enter data on plods and into minrep
  • Generate reports from minrep
  • Assist the Engineering team in month end report generation from minrep

Required Skills or Experience

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in any STEM (Science, Engineering, Maths or Technology) field or equivalent
  2. Minimum of one (1) year working experience with data and report reconciliations
  3. Familiar with using software to enter data and generate reports from same
  4. Ability to spot errors from data and correct them through the appropriate stakeholders
  5. Well-developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with and influence key stakeholders;
  6. Must possess a valid Ghanaian driving license and have the ability to drive manual vehicle;
  7. Ability to work under pressure and have the desire to achieve.
  8. Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
  9. Data reconciliation and reporting skills
  10. Knowledge in mining systems and processes is an added advantage
