Job Purpose
The incumbent will supervise the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure to ensure CNML Interest is well managed. This will include supervision of Facilities Maintenance service providers, Contractors and fuel supply services.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, execute and monitor, ensuring that Mine Facilities, Including Camps, quarters, housing, offices, recreational facilities, and service infrastructures comply with government regulations and environmental, health, Safety and Security standards.
- Manage all service providers as key stakeholders to ensure Facilities are maintained to an appropriate standard and in line with (SLA) service Level agreements.
- Consistently review Facility maintenance manual, SOPs and WIs and make recommendations for improvement where required.
- Design a Planned Preventive Maintenance Plan (PPM) to maximise and maintain the value of our property or asset by helping to operate efficiently and in full working order and as safely as possible.

- Review work requests for supervisors sign off and escalate for Line Manager attention decisions beyond your mandate.
- Oversee the inspection, auditing, maintenance, and repairs of Mechanical, electrical, Plumbing and HVAC systems at the mine facilities including service programs to ensure compliance with prescribed company procedures and that maintenance and repairs are of high-quality standard. Maintenance areas include (the built environment, building systems and service infrastructure).
- Initiate actions to identify opportunities to increase sustainability across the site.
- Assist with the development of KPIs and SLAs to monitor function and teams’ performance.
- Supervise the management of the Water Treatment Plant and the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
- Provide input into the development of Facilities and Admin Budget.
- Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly reports on e.g., Maintenance costs (planned and unplanned).
- Performs any other related duties based on the exigencies of the Company as assigned by the Supervisor.

Required Skills or Experience
Minimum qualification (s)
Degree in Facilities Management, MEP, or Mechanical Engineering
Experience (Minimum)
- Minimum of 8 years in Facilities or Infrastructure Maintenance
- Experience in Office Suite and CAFM
Knowledge (In-depth)
- Good understanding of Facility Maintenance, Maintenance Procedures and Report writing
- Understanding of Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Infrastructures
- Understanding the Operation of Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment Plants.
