POSITION: Global Mobility Executive
Required minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
Minimum Required Work Experience: At least 5 years in a comparable position or as an HR Services Specialist or Total Rewards Specialist, with 2 years focused on relocation coordination, global compensation frameworks, benefits, and vendor management related to mobility. Nestlé is actively seeking a Global Mobility Executive for our Integrated Business Services office in Accra to guarantee top-notch service provided by the IBS Global Mobility Services team in Accra by managing the entire global mobility process and ensuring full adherence to company policies. He/She adds value with his/her knowledge in a wide range of mobility-related areas: Taxes, Social security, Benefits, Immigration, and Implementation of global mobility policies. He/she guarantees that services are provided within suitable timeframes and that packages and conditions are clearly communicated to the prospective expatriate. They will serve as a partner to the business and cultivate strong relationships with clients (markets, businesses) regarding all global mobility services issues.
Your Duties
- Advisory and support for internal clients regarding global mobility issues in line with Nestlé’s international assignment guidelines, efficiency, adherence to regulations, and client satisfaction.
- Supervision and training of the IBS services line for the preparation, communication, and execution of any transfer compensation packages in accordance with relevant policies, transfer and relocation guidelines, and procedures. Point of escalation for IBS services (case management tasks)
- Oversee case management and service delivery procedures, and promote ongoing enhancement initiatives.
- Main liaison for Market stakeholders (HRBP, Total Rewards, Employee Services team, payroll) regarding Global Mobility matters across the expatriate lifecycle and managing the associated processes based on business requirements.
- Guaranteeing that master data in all systems, including SAP and case management tools, is upheld by Integrated Business Services with the utmost accuracy at all times. Essential measures are implemented promptly to avert problems or rectify errors.
- The compliance and precision of payroll information (salaries & benefits) for the expatriate workforce is assured at all times.
- Ensure that the global mobility processes by IBS are compliant by adhering to the internal process documents, such as checklists or guides.
- Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders: for example. Payroll, immigration department, relocation service provider, tax service provider. A respectful and reliable collaboration with all stakeholders and providers involved in the global mobility process to guarantee effectiveness across the global mobility process. Serve as a point for escalation.
- Expertise in HRIS and global mobility software, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of SAP HR, is extremely beneficial.
What Will Make You Successful?
- More than 5 years of experience managing global projects in a major multinational company.
- Demonstrated success in roles involving direct client interaction and managing client relationships within a global setting.
- Thorough understanding of expatriate pay, social security, taxes, payroll, and immigration matters.
- Strong ability to manage delicate compensation and business data with tact, along with skill in interacting with senior executives and efficiently conveying information.
- Capacity to make autonomous decisions and address challenges under stress while expressing a coherent viewpoint.
- Dedication to outstanding service provision in multicultural settings.
- Proficiency in French for bilingual communication is a valuable benefit.
- Hands-on experience in overseeing international relocations, expatriate assignments, or immigration procedures is very advantageous, along with handling numerous intricate global assignments at the same time.
- Knowledge of immigration laws, visa rules, labor regulations, and tax consequences in different countries is crucial.
- Cultural understanding and sensitivity developed through experience in varied settings or with global teams.
- Robust project management abilities to manage logistics for several tasks.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities and negotiation skills for successful collaboration with staff, leadership, and outside partners.
- Analytical abilities for evaluating mobility patterns and providing reports on relocation expenses and efficiency.
- Familiarity with vendor management involving relocation service providers, immigration attorneys, or global mobility consultants is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational abilities to handle the intricacies of global mobility initiatives.
- Expertise in HRIS and global mobility applications, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs and knowledge of SAP HR, is extremely beneficial.
