Overview
The Finance Director will be in charge of keeping accounting records in a timely and correct manner in accordance with HT/HTG processes in order to protect the company’s assets and provide the firm with the ability to provide information acceptable for management control and audit. You will be in charge of ensuring that the Finance Team delivers and meets departmental and organizational targets, as well as HTG Financial KPIs.

Role Responsibilities
As the Finance Director, you will be accountable for:
- Executing the financial strategy of HTG
- Managing the financial controls and accounting procedures throughout the business.
- Ensure complete transparency in the business’s financial performance.
- Giving suggestions on how to boost revenue and cut costs.
- Effectively and clearly explain any risks on a timely basis.
- Propose action plans to ensure that annual budgetary goals are met.
- Assisted the MD in the creation of monthly and annual financial plans.
- Maintaining billing speed and accuracy for clients.
- Coordinating the production of tax documents.
- Undertaking assignments assigned by the MD.
- Responsibilities include monitoring tax compliance and managing identified risks with management.
- Budget management include maintaining a favourable actual vs. budget analysis and alerting management to potential deviations early on.

Requirements:
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and qualification as a final-stage accountant with a recognized accounting body.
- At least ten years (five of which must be in a senior position). postgraduate experience in accounting
- Experience working in a large organization/publicly traded organization.
- Requirements include fluency in English and willingness to travel for business.
- Corporate Governance for Accounting/Business Financial/EBITDA management Tax and accounting compliance experience.
- Negotiation skills
- Capable of developing and maintaining solid connections with suppliers.
