Job Description

Role Purpose

To provide comprehensive, confidential administrative and business support to the Human Resource Director and the HR Function as needed.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership 

Oversee administrative functions for the HR Director and team.

  • Manage the HR Director’s calendar, correspondence, and logistics, including team supplies, conferences, and meetings.

Efficiently manage HR workflow to ensure timely deliverables

  • Act as the liaison between HR and stakeholders, facilitating information exchange.
  • Lead HR Functional engagements, including organizing meetings and implementing HR initiatives.
  • Oversee HR budget and expenses, including purchase orders and receipts.
  • Develop a workflow dashboard to ensure timely task completion.
  • Maintain HR’s information database with an efficient archiving system.
Project Management
  • Manage / support the HR Director special projects and support with business projects
  • Manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion, and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and escalating issues as needed
  • Collaborate with HR team members to design, develop and implement HR initiatives and programs

  • Collaborate effectively with the HR team to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Proactively anticipate team needs and provide necessary support
  • Naturally seek out new ideas and opportunities.
  • Approach workplace challenges with creativity
  • Experience in customer-facing, stakeholder, or people management roles.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and within set deadlines
  • At least 3 years of experience in a challenging work environment.
  • Build and maintain key business relationships to achieve team objectives.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • Degree in HR, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Telecoms industry experience is a plus.
  • People management experience is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Digitally inclined.
