Job Summary
The Farm Manager will be assigned to farms held by the owners of the company for operation to yield maximum net returns, while maintaining capital improvements on the farm. In this position, it is expected that the successful candidate would take on a variety of responsibilities ranging from helping to develop annual production plans with the owner(s), managing and supervising all activities on the farms and securing necessary items for the farms as required. Maintaining yearly contracts with all farm hands, while attracting new farm management businesses and prospects. The successful candidate should have experience in various farming techniques, including tillage and conservation practices, irrigation, and fertilization. In addition to actual crop production planning and risk management practices.
