The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Generating leads, in the field and not only!
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
  • Assist in determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Visiting and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Maintaining client records.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Updates on customer relationship management (CRM) effectively with all appropriate data.
  • Sending marketing emails to customers 
  • Reporting on activities towards target achievement to the Sales Manager.
  • Research potential targets, industries, and customers.
  • and other duties as and when assigned
MUST READ:

Qualifications

  • 2 – 5 years minimum in building materials, paints, or construction sector sales. Experience in sales of construction or building materials.
  • BSc in any related field (Minimum)
  • Ghanaian or Any nationality (more than 5 years living in Ghana minimum)
  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
