Position: Home Tutor for Math and Science (Junior High)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to provide personalized, in-home instruction in Math and Science for junior high students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, skilled in simplifying complex concepts, and capable of fostering a supportive learning environment.

Employment Type: Part-time ( weekend )

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons in Math and Science.
Help students understand challenging concepts, complete homework, and prepare for exams.
Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Communicate with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress.

Qualification Required & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
Proven experience teaching or tutoring Math and Science at the junior high level.
Strong understanding of Cambridge and GES curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, reliability, and the ability to build rapport with students.
