Position: Condition Monitoring Engineer
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure machine fluid condition monitoring systems are functional and appropriately used
- Ensure CAT wear management tools and systems are functional and appropriately used to support machine reliability
- Continuously monitor and report on Haul road and in pit floor conditions using appropriate business tools
- Provide leadership for conducing field, Pre PM and quality control machine inspections
- Proactively reporting on machine health problems and advising the maintenance team on repair before failure
- Capture post maintenance inspection findings and liaise with backlog team to maintain record of machine defects
- Provide leadership in the use of on-board and off-board vital information management system (VIMS) and Electronic Technician (ET) as well as other health reporting tools
- Assist engineers in troubleshooting using condition monitoring tools
Qualification Required & Experience
- Minimum of HND Engineering (Mech/Electrical/Agric) or MVT III
- Minimum of 4 years post qualification experience in Mining, Engineering or Construction
Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent technical skill and good time management skills
- Good IT skills
- Demonstrate good understanding in the use of Service Information System (SIS), Service (CTS) and Vision link
- Should have a driving license B or Higher
