Academic City University College offers full scholarships to NSMQ 2022 winners.
Mr. Austin Afutu, a student at Presbyterian Boys Secondary School in Legon, was a member of the winning team in the 2022 National Science and Maths Quiz, and he has been offered and joyfully accepted a full scholarship from Academic City University College.
The award is valued at $40,000.
Academic City’s $40,000 Presidential Scholarship Award is given to students who achieve academically while also demonstrating strong leadership potential and business ambition.
Only the most remarkable and deserving pupils will be picked for this prestigious award.
Mr. Afutu intends to attend Academic City in Accra, Ghana, where he will study Biomedical Engineering for four years.

The scholarship will cover the cost of the student’s education as well as a place to live, food, a laptop, a monthly stipend, and transportation to and from their home and hometown (twice a year).
Mr. Afutu, according to PRESEC teachers, is a very intelligent student who helped the school win the National Championship for the seventh time.
Ms. Shannan Akosua Magee, Academic City’s Director of Admissions, presented the scholarship and spoke about the university’s commitment to rewarding students for their efforts.
Mr. Afutu thanked Academic City for the grant and indicated that he would work hard to make the school proud as the NSMQ 2022 winner receives a full scholarship.
