This article will explain how to book a private hostel room at KNUST if you are a continuing student or a fresher who has just been admitted.
Some first-year students struggle with accommodation because the usual halls cannot house all of them due to the university’s larger intake of fresh students over the past year.
The good news is that the Dean of Students’ office has a specific arrangement with select hostel managers that helps first-year students who had trouble securing a hall of residence.
If for one or more reasons you weren’t able to take advantage of any of these options, you can use this article to your advantage by finding a hostel.

How To Book a Private Hostel In KNUST As A Continuing Student
The procedure for reserving a private hostel at KNUST as a continuing student differs slightly from that for freshmen. You are required to book a room on your own in accordance with the university’s housing policy once you have lived in the hall for one year.
If you were able to secure accommodation in the private hostel during your first year, you could make arrangements with the management of the hostel for the next academic year.
If you come to an agreement, you must pay the annual hostel fees.
The SRC hostel and the GUSSS hostels are available in addition to the regular halls, as we previously said.
The SRC hostel booking instructions are provided in this article. If you are unable to obtain the SRC hostel tool, you might try that by keeping an eye on the GUSSS hostel’s opening dates.
