Students are reminded that obtaining a bed space at the SRC Hostel is quite difficult, therefore they should make every effort to arrive on time. Because of the high volume of traffic, there may be times when the site is unavailable. In such cases, students must remain calm and continue to try.

How To Book And Pay Your KNUST SRC Hostel Fees
Below is the step-by-step guide to secure accommodation and pay the KNUST SRC Hostel Fees;
Step 1: Visit the KNUST Room Allocator portal https://srchostel.knust.edu.gh
Step 2: Enter your Credentials to get access to the Accommodation Portal dashboard
Step 3: Choose from any of the 4 choices (Block A, Block B, Block C and Block D) along with the type of room (Flat or self-contained) and number in a room. KNUST SRC hostel Prices are indicated when making the selection.

Step 4: Wait for an official notification from the SRC Hostel detailing the choices you made and whether it was approved. This will come in the form of a text message.
Step 5: Log in to the SRC Accommodation portal again and print out your form.
Step 6: If approved as stated in point 4, head to any approved KNUST banks and make payment.
Step 7: Take the receipt to the office of the Dean of Students for official endorsement. Please make a copy of it for yourself.

Step 8: Submit the endorsed form on the reopening semester date to the porters for a key to your room.

Follow the steps below to make a reservation and select a room
Visit the KNUST accommodation portal or https://accommodation.knust.edu.gh/
Login with your Application Number and PIN.
- Select the Make a reservation button to view available accommodation.
- Read and accept the accommodation instructions.
- Select accommodation from the list available. A reservation code will be generated.
- Logout of the system and proceed to a paypoint to pay residential fees.
- After payment of residential fees, login to the system to select a room.

Do not pay academic and residential fees together. Make a reservation for accommodation before payment of residential fees.
