A student who seeks re-marking must follow the steps outlined below:
- He or she will submit the request for remarking to the Vice-Chancellor via the Provost, the Dean, and the Head of Department.
- The student is required to pay a fee that will be decided by the KNUST. In the event that a student is found not guilty, the cost will be reimbursed to them; this occurs when the revised mark they receive as a consequence of the remarking increases their grade. To process the results, the new mark that comes from the re-marking will be utilised.
- The request for remarking must be submitted within a month of the Academic Board endorsing the results.
