Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, better known as Shatta Wale, has won big at the recently concluded Urban Music Awards 2022.
“Already” is a song by Beyoncé, Shatta Wale, and Major Lazer from 2019 The Lion King Album: The Gift, which featured in the 2020 film Black Is King.
Already” was first released as a tune on Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift, a soundtrack album for the 2019 photorealistic animated version of The Lion King, which was handpicked by Beyoncé. On July 31, 2020, it was featured in Black Is King, a visual counterpart and television film for the album, which was published on Disney Plus.
A few hours before the film’s debut, the music video was published independently to YouTube and Instagram. Several magazines, including Vulture, Idolator, USA Today, Vogue, Crack Magazine, and Slant, named the film one of the best music videos of 2020.
