Six students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology were charged with raping a first-year female student at the Asokore Mampong District Court on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
The six students’ attorney, Richard Adu Darko, maintains that they are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty by a court of competent authority.
“These students of KNUST have been accused of rape and based on the facts presented to us, we do not see rape but that is what they have been accused of. Once someone is accused of an offence, the law states that the person is innocent until proven guilty or the person pleads otherwise.” -The lawyer explained to TV3 News

Full Story of Alleged Gang Rape by Six KNUST Students
On Friday, July 29, 2022, six KNUST students allegedly raped a female student at level 100 in a group.
At the Asokore Mampong Circuit Court, these students are currently being held without bail. We wouldn’t reveal the victim’s identity for security concerns.
Sadly, one of the six pupils is the victim’s boyfriend. He (the so-called boyfriend) texted his girlfriend (the victim) on Friday to ask for a “threesome,” but she refused.
Then he begged to only have sex with her.
Instead of inviting her to his room, the guy chose another room.

Some other five guys suddenly appeared in that room after they were finished, forcing sex with her. The five boys each performed it in turn. The victim’s lover gripped her neck tightly, causing her to become restless and lose all self-control.
Making it simple for the lads to approach her, in turn. This is extremely unfortunate indeed!
The sufferer has been taken urgently to the hospital for treatment.
The boys were detained while taking their midterm exam, as we later learned.
