The alleged UAE Visa Ban On Ghanaians visiting Dubai is Not Official. Amer Al-alwi, the UAE ambassador to Ghana, has denied claims that the United Arab Emirates had imposed visa restrictions on Ghana and other African nations.
DW Africa reported on Monday that the UAE had imposed a visa block on residents of 20 African countries, including Ghanaians preparing to visit Dubai.
Several nations, including Ghana, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Cameroon, Nigeria, Liberia, Burundi, Republic of Guinea, Gambia, Togo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Benin, Ivory Coast, Congo, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Comoros, and Uganda, will be affected by the ban, according to the German news source.
Amer Al-alwi dismissed any allegations that Ghanaians have been blacklisted as mere speculations in a recent interview.

The daily routine continues, he continued, despite the absence of an official statement from his government.
There is no reason to take such speculations seriously because his government has not yet made an official announcement, he said.
