Government of Flanders Master Mind Scholarships For Developing Countries.
The Flanders Government is now pleased to invite international students to apply for the Master Mind Scholarship, a newly launched scholarship. There are up to 30 awards available for international master students studying at Flemish universities. Each scholarship recipient will receive 8,000 euros per academic year.
Scholarship Description
The Flemish Ministry of Education and Training awards scholarships for master’s programs in Flanders and Brussels to outstanding students from around the world.
The grant is paid in instalments and covers accommodation costs, insurances and a significant amount of their living expenses. If you are interested, you first need to apply to one of the Flemish host institutions that participates in the Master Mind Scholarship Program.

Benefits of Government of Flanders Master Mind Scholarships 2023
A Master Mind Scholarship includes a grant of €8 400 + a tuition fee waiver per academic year (60 ECTS). Master Mind Scholarship holders only pay an administrative enrolment fee.

Eligibility and Criteria
All interested candidates are expected to meet all of the following criteria:
- The applicant is registered as a full-time student at a higher education institution
- The applicant should have a high standard of academic performance and/or potential.
- The Home Institution of the applicant and the Flemish Host Institution have signed a cooperation agreement.
Applicants’ Nationality
All nationalities can apply. The previous degree obtained should be from a higher education institution located outside Flanders. International students who have been on credit mobility in a hosting Flemish higher education institution are still eligible for a Master Mind Scholarship.
