The University of Alabama Free Application Week is now open! This is a huge chance if you’ve always wanted to further your education in the land of opportunity that is the United States. Apply this week to get one step closer to realising your ambition.
Apply through the UA Undergraduate App for free until Friday, October 20 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. Applications submitted through the Common App will continue to require UA’s standard $40 application fee.
First-time, main-campus freshmen who submit an application and all supporting documents after January 15 will receive consideration for admission on a space-available basis.

Requirements
- Testing Optional: Standardized ACT or SAT scores are not required for admission consideration.
- Essay Submissions and Letters of Recommendation: These are not required.

Scholarships Available
- Automatic merit scholarships are awarded upon admission to students who meet the stated scholarship requirements and deadlines.
- Competitive scholarships are included in the application for admission, and additional competitive scholarships may be applied for through the Freshman Supplemental Scholarship admission.

Priority Deadline:
Submit an application and all supporting documents by January 15 in order to receive priority consideration for admission. Admitted students who meet the priority deadline will be considered for competitive scholarships and automatic merit scholarships.
