FIFA World Cup: FIFA records nearly 3 million ticket sales ahead of Qatar 2022.

The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has recorded a total of 2.89 million ticket sales in less than 33 days to the 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar.

The 64 games that will be played in eight different stadiums in Qatar have already sold 2.89 million tickets, according to the world football authority.

The United States, Saudi Arabia, England, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Argentina, France, Brazil, and Germany were listed as the top countries to have purchased the most tickets out of all the ones that were sold.

The tournament has also achieved record-breaking hospitality ticket sales with 240,000 packages sold 63% of those to international clients,” it further detailed.

In addition to other preparations, the football association had also unveiled the “Hayya Card,” which would act as a visa for visiting supporters from other countries, grant admission to everyone with a valid match ticket, and offer free public transportation throughout the entire nation.

FIFA additionally advised tournament attendees to buy the tickets that are still available, which will be on sale from now through the event’s conclusion in Qatar.

More tickets have been sold for this year’s World Cup than there were for the previous one in 2018, which had over 2.5 million sold as of a week before the event, with Russia, the host nation, topping the list of purchasers.
