Champions League Round of 16 schedule
UEFA will put together the final schedule after the Round of 16 draw before announcing the dates for each matchup.
The second leg of a match will be scheduled for a Wednesday if the first leg was scheduled for a Tuesday by UEFA, and vice versa.
All Round of 16 games will start at 15:00 ET, 21:00 CET, and 10:00 BST, respectively.
The second leg will be played at home by the group winners.

When is the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal draw?
The Champions League quarterfinal draw will happen on Friday, March 17, 2023, once the Round of 16 has concluded and there are only eight clubs remaining.
The draw for the semifinals and championship game will also transpire on that day, giving each club a clear path to victory.
It’s important to note that starting with the quarterfinal draw, there are no longer any national limits, and any team can be paired against any other team, even one from the same country.
Six of last season’s eight quarterfinalists have a chance to reach the final eight stage for the second season in a row when they play in the Round of 16: Benfica, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid

Champions League schedule for knockout rounds
Due to the men’s FIFA World Cup taking place in the middle of the season and the ensuing scheduling conflict, the 2023 Champions League knockout round schedule will go until June.
The current schedule calls for one round of knockout matches every month between April and June to get us from the quarterfinals to the final at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
- Quarterfinals: April 11/12 (1st Leg), April 18/19 (2nd Leg)
- Semifinals: May 9/10 (1st Leg), May 16/17 (2nd Leg)

No away goals in Champions League
The away goals tiebreaker which had been a feature of the tournament’s knockout rounds since 1965 was abolished for the 2021/22 edition with UEFA citing sporting justice among other reasons.
If teams are level on total goals scored after the conclusion of the second leg, then a 30-minute extra time period will be played with a penalty shootout used to determine a winner if the deadlock persists.
There were only two knockout round matchups that needed extra time in 2021/22 and both featured eventual champion Real Madrid.
The Spanish champions needed extra time to knock off English foes Chelsea (quarterfinals) and Manchester City (semifinals) before taking care of Liverpool in the final in regular time.

Who will win the Champions League in 2023?
According to the betting market, high-spending Manchester City and PSG are two of the top three favourites to win the 2023 UEFA Champions League final.
German powerhouses Bayern Munich are sandwiched between the top two after finishing the group stage undefeated and are the second favourites after replacing Robert Lewandowski with Sadio Mane in the summer.
